Ren - Murderer (Official Video)

Continuing his string of artistically driven releases, Ren packs a punch with brand new single, ‘Murderer’, via The Other Songs.

Ren’s new Hip-Hop infused offering ‘Murderer’, is fueled with a pulsing tempo, undeniably infectious hook, and his trademark lyrical mastery. The single is accompanied by a self-directed music video which follows his signature ‘one take performance’, delivering viewers another unique digital theater experience. In the visuals, we see Ren confronting the camera whilst on his journey to capture a suspected enemy alongside a pig-masked accomplice, a recurring theme across previous releases including ‘Hi Ren’ and ‘Animal Flow’.

Accelerating past 1M+ views in four days, and peaking at #2 on the Amazon Music's Trending Charts, the rhythmical mastermind ‘Animal Flow’ received recent support from Jack Saunders on BBC Radio 1. Following this success, Ren dropped the emotive single ‘Suic*de’ and spoken word piece titled ‘For Joe’ in memory of his close friend whom he lost. Alongside the release, Ren was tirelessly committed to fundraising, valiantly presenting £21,000 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLIB) who were a key part in the search for Joe.

Ren is most commonly known for his viral sensation ‘Hi Ren’. Released in December 2022, the single has amassed an impressive 16M+ YouTube views, making a global impact, and continues creating a space for the misunderstood. Prior to this, the wordsmith shared a poignant rendition of The Verve’s’ iconic hit 'Bittersweet Symphony’; currently sitting with 2.4M views, this release has gained him the co-signs from the revered Britpop band as well as other musical heavyweights including The Prodigy and Limp Bizkit.

Ren's unique musical style resonates with an increasingly devoted audience of millions across the globe. He is building a huge fanbase of hardcore, loyal supporters. Continuing to inspire his fans release after release, Ren references his ongoing battle with Lyme Disease and brain damage, for which he is currently undergoing highly specialized daily treatment in Canada.

‘Murderer’ is another standout addition to Ren’s diverse catalogue of releases, and yet another example of his creative talents that continue to sonically and stylistically inspire.
