Scrulove - Girl I Know (Single)

London-based rapper ‘Scrulove’ releases his new single Girl I Know, a lyrically charged body of work filtered by punchy flows dispatched by one of Hip-Hop’s most underrated talents. It is the first in a series of singles following the release of his album titled ‘Yiska’.

The British-Guyanese rapper born Lee Oakeley is known for his incredible production value and experimental music and always maintains the integrity of his style without sacrificing his musical identity.

Speaking on his new single, the artist says: “Girl I know started as a response to people who like to bring you bad news, like they feed off your sad or negative reaction to something. When this happens I usually just say...girl, I know...sorry you didn’t get the response you wanted, I’m cool over here.”

Featuring elements of Drum & Bass, Scrulove utilises the genre to further Hip-Hop elements into the song, delivering a sound many crave.
