Live: Limitless Live Stefflon Don, Backroad Gee and Jords @ The Roundhouse

Limitless Live, the UK’s largest free live music show with social purpose at its core, took place at London’s Roundhouse on 13th April.

We had a wonderful time at Limitless Live! The evening started off with some DJs which included a stellar performance from DJ Shayna Marie, who was the special guest from new partner LADbible. I had the pleasure of being in the VIP area where there was free KFC! Can you believe that! I was introduced to the founder Tolu who is wonderful and I think the opportunities he has been able to provide are really special. There was a product giveaway from Puma and incredible moments for fans to capture content.

Once the DJs had warmed up the crowd and made sure the dancing trainers were in full effect. Jords graced the stage showing his versatility weaving from rapping to singing performing songs such as ‘Nervous Riddim (ft Cashh)’. He brought on Lil Sykes for ‘Drill vs Grime’ from the critically-acclaimed album ‘DIRT IN THE DIAMOND’ and it was absolutely electric the crowd were feeling it. Next up was MC Backroad Gee and he was giving energy crew all the way throughout. He had dancers in stage which only elevated the performs and the crowd where bopping, I could see people in the crowd dancing along with him. The crowd really lit up when he performed his own rendition of ‘My Family’ celebrating a collaboration with Pa Salieu. The headliner Stefflon Don was a force of nature effortlessly dancing and singing performing songs such as ‘Can’t Let You Go’, ‘Hurtin Me’ and my personal favourite ‘16 Shots’. She captivated the crowd and had them in the palm of her hand, I could tell they absolutely loved her set. There was segment were she got audience member to come up and dance and the audience got to pick a winner by shouting their favourite, the winner got to meet her after.

As part of Limitless Live’s mission to connect and inspire aspirational young people from underrepresented backgrounds, all the tickets for this year's event were free and distributed through multiple charity and community partners.

Tolu founder of Limitless Live comments: “Limitless Live 2024 has been incredible, not only did we host the UK’s largest free live music show but it was exceptional to so many excited young faces in what was a sold out Roundhouse. Limitless Live continues to be a beacon of light representing a continued commitment to supporting the aspirations and wellbeing of young people and ensuring that as we navigate a cost of living crisis underrepresented young people still have access to live music and the best acts in the UK.”

Stefflon Don said: “It's incredible to be part of Limitless Live. The initiative aims to make music more accessible to underrepresented young people who are facing increasing challenges in their lives. I've always strived to build deeper connections with my fans and I hope that by being a part of this and removing the barrier of ticket costs, I can enable all my fans to connect with my art and provide a moment of joy and social connection at the Roundhouse
