Allysha Joy is a deeply-dedicated singer, songwriter, producer & keys player hailing from Naarm (Melbourne), known for both her solo work and as front woman for 30/70. A uniquely-talented artist, her husky soulful voice, formidable Fender Rhodes prowess and raw poeticism has garnered legions of attentive fans the world over.

'Stay' embodies the kind of rich, emotive sonics that affords you the space to breathe a little deeper. Self-produced and her first solo release for two years, it features passionate uplifting vocal support from Annalisa Fernandez and Jace XL, soaring on top of a mid-tempo groove alongside Allysha's unmistakable breathy vocals, a dynamic live string quartet and her rich Fender Rhodes sound omnipresent throughout the track.

In her own words “'Stay' is about drawing a kind of love into your life that is wanting and willing for you to do right by you, to say yes and really mean it, to say no when you need to and "still here I am, asking you to stay". It's about true love existing in the acceptance of, and yet still forever longing, for you.”

The track is accompanied by a beautiful visual clip directed by Jack Ralph; one that showcases the amalgamation of power and intimacy within this piece. A delicate balance realised here in a phenomenal way. This is a four minute taste of contemporary R&B brilliance, and an example of the honest beauty embedded within Allysha's music and what is to come.

Along with a recent foray into the USA market with a string of successful shows, Allysha Joy has performed alongside acts such as Snarky Puppy, The Teskey Brothers, PJ Morton, Kokoroko and Children of Zeus, to name a few.

Joy has previously released two full-length solo albums 'Acadie : Raw' in 2018, 'Torn : Tonic' in 2022 and an EP, 'Light It Again' in 2020, along with countless collaborations and features over the past few years.
