Fresh Page Edges Frayed is the debut album from Brighton based DJ/producer Kojak and marks a significant evolution in his creative journey as both a turntablist and trombonist.

Kojak’s distinctive soundscape on this album is crafted through an innovative blend of modern production, classical brass and a passion for "digging in the crates" – the art of discovering rare and forgotten records – as he finds himself journeying on the ever-evolving path of self-expression.

From the grimy banger Corner Skank, to expressive cuts on Are You Satisfied? and dramatic film-score drops on Rotating Landscape, Kojak’s debut album represents a journey into new territory, embracing both the refuge and vulnerability that come with exploring the unknown.

Growing up on a rich diet of Hip Hop, Jungle and DnB, Kojak threw himself into the music scene at the tender age of 11, DJing at under-18 raves and house parties, crafting the art of scratching while standing on crates to reach the decks. Kojak, a composer, certified vinyl hoarder and sample sorcerer, has more recently reconnected with playing the trombone to incorporate into his music.
