Finn Foxell - HER WAY (Official Video)
Shepherds Bush rapper-singer Finn Foxell releases his new single, 'HER WAY,' Marking his most inventive vocal performance to date, 'HER WAY' displays Finn’s virtuous voice across a psychedelic production from Humble The Great. The concoction of instruments offers guitar riffs and synths that strike a clear evolution of his early discography and resemble sounds from recent singles 'ALIVE' and 'ROUND HERE'. Finn's lyrics continue to offer listeners a new perspective on life’s obstacles as he offers his most introspective self with lines such as "Yes we all got problems, don't know what's happening inside". Fans and tastemakers are highly anticipating his long-awaited full body of work due to solidifying his reputation as an innovator of his generation.
Music has always been in Finn's DNA, his Father was a songwriter, and his Mum a performer, he quickly became hooked on the idea of music, and the chronology of his journey began. Finn's older brother introduced him to Grime, enabling an obsession with UK freestyles and cyphers, simultaneously educating him on a pioneering era broadcasted on Channel U, JDZ Media, SBTV and Grime Daily. By his mid-teens, Finn built his family unit in Elevation Meditation, a collective of like-minded artists (P-Rallel, Lord Apex, Xav and Louis Culture) who have since become one of the most celebrated collectives in London representing the inner city generation to the fullest. At 25 years old, his discography has taken him far and wide, including multiple UK and EU tours and a debut performance at Glastonbury last year. Adding to his extensive lists of accolades and co-signs, Finn recently sat front row at Robyn Lynch's LFW catwalk alongside Jeshi and Louis Culture to further encompass his urge to push forward. With more profound influences pouring into his creativity, the forthcoming album is a massive milestone in Finn's career and unravels stories, feelings and emotions never heard before.
Last month, Finn hosted an immersive album listening experience for fans in a painting workshop allowing attendees to re-discover their inner child which is a key theme in the new music. Recent co-signs include BBC Radio 1 DJAlyx Holcombe and more recently DJ Steve Lamacq for his first-ever play on BBC R6.Finn is now focused on closing in on his most significant musical milestone with 'Mama's Boy' which arrives five years after his highly regarded debut EP, ‘Good Tea’.
