This new project underscores his remarkable 20-year journey in the music industry, a journey that has seen him evolve from a novice pianist in the early 2000s to a highly accomplished and decorated music producer with an enduring impact on Kenya’s music legacy and the African diaspora.

Waithaka’s career is a testament to his dedication to creating timeless music that resonates across diverse audiences. His eclectic catalogue, released under his label Waithaka Ent, spans multiple genres and highlights his versatility as a producer and composer. Notable works include his monumental debut album, Odes by Queens (2020), the collaborative project, BLK2541 (2020), and his joint album, Moshi (2024), with Zimbabwean artist MJ Wemoto. Waithaka’s collaborations also include work with esteemed artists such as Mutoriah, Chemutai Sage, Serro, and international acts like Grammy-nominated engineer Giggz, Congolese-French musician Kaysha, and BET’s 106 & Park All-Star '09 winner Chris Deshield.
