Keys the Prince - Back 2 Me (Single)

After starting the year on a celebratory note with January release ‘O Ti Lo’, West London artist Keys the Prince follows up with flirtatious new single ‘Back 2 Me’.

Continuously showcasing a flair for crafting energetic and captivating music, the self-produced track’s allure is instantly felt, as shuffling percussion melds with playful melodies and a hypnotic vocal sample. ‘Back 2 Me’ is sweetly seductive; an addictive and glossy track in which Keys goes back and forth with a lover who just can’t quite let him go. Keys’ mischievous flow sits perfectly within the track’s bubbling beat, creating a vibe that can be sung along to by guys and girls alike as temperatures begin to rise across the UK.

2024 was a standout period for Keys the Prince who carried the momentum of his summer 2023 A COLORS SHOW performance into the new year, releasing ‘Left Right’ in February, a track that propelled his status in the scene, highlighting him as an exciting talent to watch. The song’s fusion of fuji, afrobeats and rap struck a chord with young Nigerians across the diaspora, with Keys’ Yoruba heritage taking centre stage in the song’s production, lyrics and accompanying visuals (which featured Keys and co. visiting various London landmarks in full trad clothing). Continuing to deliver quality music to his growing audience, Keys followed up with an official remix to ‘Left Right’ featuring Nigerian artist Mayorkun and went on to release tracks, ‘Folasade’, ‘Catch Me Outside’ and ‘Gbe Mi De Bi’ featuring BXUJII (the song’s visualiser being shot in a black owned hairshop). His crowning achievement came in November when Keys performed at his sold out headline show at The Lower Third. The night saw Keys performing alongside a full live band as his Gbedu City show brought the organic energy of a hall party to the packed Soho venue.
