Finn Foxell - EASIER (Single)
Shepherds Bush rapper-singer Finn Foxell releases his new single 'EASIER' ahead of his highly anticipated debut album' MAMAS BOY' due this spring. 'EASIER' showcases Finn's raw emotion through his introspective lyrics, blending Rap and Rock to curate a sound that fuses the past and present of his artistic evolution. Having taken a brief hiatus to focus on his personal life - specifically prioritising the birth of his first child - Finn is now fully engaged in releasing ‘MAMA’S BOY’. Finn teased the single alongside music from the album and cult classics at his recent debut live band performance at Dublin Castle. With co-signs from NME, DAZED, The Face, COLORS, and BBC Radio 1 DJs Alyx Holcombe and Steve Lamacq, Finn's sound reaches new tastemaker audiences while his dedicated fanbase steadily grows.
Finn stepped out of his comfort zone to make his debut album, 'MAMAS BOY' and found himself going through heartbreak, amongst other obstacles, which he used to piece together the project. Since finalising it, he's welcomed the birth of his firstborn into the world, giving him a fresh perspective on life and a refreshing insight into new emotional realms. Music has always been in Finn's DNA; his Father was a songwriter, and his Mum a performer he quickly became hooked on the idea of music, and the chronology of his journey began. Finn's older brother introduced him to Grime, enabling an obsession with UK freestyles and cyphers, simultaneously educating him on a pioneering era broadcasted on Channel U, JDZ Media, SBTV and Grime Daily. By his mid-teens, Finn built his family unit in Elevation Meditation, a collective of like-minded artists (P-Rallel, Lord Apex, Xav and Louis Culture) who have since become one of the most celebrated collectives in London representing the inner city generation to the fullest. At 25 years old, his discography has taken him far and wide, including multiple UK and EU tours and a debut performance at Glastonbury last year.
Ahead of ‘MAMA’S BOY’, Finn is fine-tuning plans to tour several cities in the UK to showcase his new approach to his live renditions. Since first making waves in 2019, Finn has put his time, energy, and focus into his debut project, which will put his name out on the most significant scale to date.
