Brighton-based singer-songwriter Elli Ingram has unveiled her new single ‘Strange How Good Things Change’, out now.

Underpinned by jazz-inflected piano chords and gospel-like backing vocals, ‘Strange How Good Things Change’ is a soulful, deeply personal ballad that sees Elli reflect on the past while staying positive for the future.

Her first release of the new year, it follows 2020 singles ‘Flowers’, ‘Heavy’ and ‘Bad Behaviour’, tracks that have amassed over 1 million combined Spotify streams in the months since.

“We’ve all been through a lot of change lately which can be painful, especially if things in your life seemed so good before,” Elli explains. “Change can be hard to accept but without change we cannot grow. This next single is me letting go of the past and embracing the new.”
