Daire on the meaning behind the upcoming release: “The song is about coming to terms with growing up, getting older and accepting that in life things don’t always go the way you hoped they would.”

“​​The lyrics “I wake up I go back to sleep” which form the backbone of the song is just a commentary on how I was living my life at that point. A lot of the song however is more so about coming to terms with growing up, getting older and accepting that in life things don’t always go the way you hoped they would.”

The new single will shortly be followed by Daire’s first official music video on June 22nd. The accompanying visuals for the track bring to life Daire’s introspective lyrics as we see him wake up in different locations and his struggle as he goes through the motions of everyday life.
