BZ - Trust Issues (Official Video)

South London rising rapper BZ returns with his summer single, ‘Trust Issues’ produced by Eyes Adoasi (Headie One, Odeal and Not3s) BZ’s clear-as-day cadence and delivery dives into the universal feeling of trust issues that can run through relationships, friendships, life, work and everything in between. Bringing golden era energy with the nostalgic, soulful production, the female adlibs throughout add to the song's elegance. On his new release, BZ delivers on the visuals as always, with the video directed by Delenn Vaughan set in a 1980s Black British cafe, with BZ’s character becoming infatuated with the lady behind the counter. The video is packed with vibrancy and cultural references and explores themes of love, perseverance, and the power of community.

Camberwell born and Croydon raised, BZ’s earliest music memories are from growing up in Church surrounded by Gospel music. He started expressing himself through spoken word poetry from a young age, leading to him freestyling at school at any opportunity. It wasn't until a close friend offered to pay for a studio session that BZ’s whole world changed, and from then on, everything became about music. Still, early on in his journey, he faced impactful highs and lows, driving him to almost quit music for good. BZ cites a career-affirming show overseas that reminded him exactly why he is destined to be a musician, and he hasn't looked back since. BZ’s sound is a blend of his Ghanaian heritage that always shines through sonically paired with the inner-city London flare we hear in his flow.
